McDermott Will & Emery and Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft have become the latest US firms to post rising revenues after recent leans years, reports the Am Law Daily. The Chicago-based McDermott, which has seen revenues drop by a combined total of $100m (£63m) during 2009 and 2010, has reversed the trend by recording a 4.7% increase for 2011 to $826m (£524m). with profits per equity partner (PEP) inching up 2.7% to $1.5m (£950,000).

The firm's Stateside operations have ended two straight years of financial decline, taking in $474.5m (£300m) in gross revenue last year, while US profits per equity partner grew almost 7% to $880,000 (£556,000) after a 15% rise in 2010.

i believe i have been the victim of a breach of confidentiality from an email and letter i received from a solicitor with intimate knowledge of my records from the housing trust the housing trust is a council too what are my options if i can prove this to be the case

Ex verbally abusing me in front of my kids?
My ex was calling me names and shouting agressively at me, telling me i was unstable and that i was a dick. we have a court order in place and he sees them 27days in a year this is all he asked for in coyrt, he gets like this everytime i never know what response am going to get when he collects the kids, am calling my solicitor tommorrow with a recording of he doing this but just want to know what i may be able to do about this situation. i have tried the hand over in a public place and he still brought me to tears, his family arnt allowed to be unattentend with the kids so he cant have someone pick them up for him. i feel really stuck and dont know what to do
