Get a medical certificate. This tip should be a priority if only to set on record that you have suffered a neck sprain as well as other injuries as a result of that vehicle accident. This medical record is very important to prove your case.

Compensation Myth - Making a claim is money for old rope

This is certainly not the case. The client must have a genuine injury and that injury must have been bad enough to have had some impact of the client's life, even if only for a few weeks. There is a process to go through that involves assessment by your solicitor and assessment by a qualified medical practitioner to determine if the injuries sustained where severe enough to warrant a claim for compensation being made. If the injuries are definitely attributable to the accident and there is a good chance of establishing liability, then a claim can proceed.
Get the services of an experienced whiplash injury solicitor who can help you in filing the case. He can also give you advice on how to prosecute the case properly if you want to win your whiplash injury case.

Get photographs of the vehicle accident. If you have a camera during the accident then it would do your case a lot of good if you can get shots of the actual accident. If you are heavily injured then you can ask someone to take photos of the accident as these photos will be very important later on.

Have a thorough medical check up a week after the accident if you are still feeling dizzy or you are experiencing blurred vision or have trouble concentrating. Watch out for any whiplash injury symptoms like irritability or depression and consult with your doctors immediately so he can add it the symptoms to your medical file.

Aim for the greatest financial compensation as much as possible. A person suffering from a whiplash injury can get compensation of up to two hundred pounds or more depending on the injuries sustained. If you can prove the severity of your whiplash injury then you might get a higher compensation.

The compensation you can get from a whiplash injury should not only be for the physical injuries you have suffered. You also deserve compensation for loss of wages and other opportunities because of the injury.

Always go for the complete test after a vehicle accident. And I mean not just the doctor checking your pulse or your heartbeat or any other visible injuries. It also means getting the X-rays a CAT scan or other tests. If you are paying for all of these tests then keep the receipts as you may need them when filing the case.

If you or someone you know figured in an accident at work, you may be entitled to an accident compensation for any injury you may have suffered as a result of the accident. It does not matter how light or severe the injuries arising from an accident at work, you must never keep quiet and suffer the financial, physical and emotional consequences of such injury. Try to get a solicitor under the no win no fee agreement. If you are hesitant about filing a whiplash injury case because you are concerned about your financial capacity to pay your solicitor then do not worry because there are personal injury solicitors who will offer their services under this scheme.

Check the documents that an insurance company will present you in an effort to negotiate a settlement. Make sure your solicitor has reviewed the settlement agreement because there may be terms that are not favourable to you like you may be agreeing that the insurance company will pay you in instalment or that you can no longer get additional compensation even if you discover a greater in jury later on.

Check your timeframe. A whiplash injury case can be filed in court within three years from the time of the injury. If you fail to file your case within this period then you may no longer have any whiplash injury case to prosecute much more to win. There are legal procedures that must be observed and no matter how serious your whiplash injuries are you will no longer get compensation if you fail to assert such right on time.

A whiplash injury can be horrible and can a very traumatic incident. It is only fair that those who were at fault for the incident should be penalized by asking them to compensate their victims. Help yourself get the proper compensation in your whiplash in jury case by considering these tips as the basic guidelines when filing your case.

Most people believe your very unlikely to have an accident while working in an office think that most of the type of work accidents from happening in factories, but accidents happen in offices. My husband has taken everything, what can I do?
my husband had an on-going affair with my best friend whom is a solicitor. He filed for divorce before I discovered anything of the affair. After he left, I lived in the marital home with our four children and I paid the mortgage; he paid nothing, not even child support. I struggled to pay the bills and could not afford a solicitor and so had to have one on Legal Aid. 4 weeks ago, my ex-husband and I went to court where I discovered that he had gained custody of 2 of our children and the £250,000 house. I, on the other hand, had four weeks to leave the house and was given £13,000. Just after the court case, I spotted my Legal Aid solicitor laughing and joking with my ex best friend. I feel really betrayed and want to report her but don't know how. I just feel like she was working for the opposing side, which wouldn't surprise me. My ex-husband has not co-operated (his father held a knife up to my father) and now he and my ex-best friend are moving into my house with my children. I don't think this is at all normal as we have been friends since we were 9, she's admitted she was jealous of me in the past, but I never imagined it would reach this extent. She has taken my life is there anything I can do now? I understand that similar things happen to both sexes and I completely disagree with the fact that the legal system is very one-sided at times. However, he was the one in the wrong, and if I had done what he'd done I'd expect this to happen to me. But I had done nothing. That's what has angered me so much; I cooked his dinner, ironed his shirts, looked after his children, befriended his friends...I couldn't have done more. Thanks for all of your advice. Let's hope that what goes around comes around eventually and the two of them get what they deserve.
